Moda Restrictions Will Not Affect the AlaskaCare Dental Plans
The action today taken by the Alaska Division of Insurance related to Moda Health does not apply to the employee and retiree dental plans administered by the State of Alaska. State of Alaska employees, retirees, and their dental providers will not see any change in the administration of the dental plan. The State of Alaska contracts with Oregon Dental Service to provide third-party dental claims administration and claims for the AlaskaCare dental plans will not be impacted by this action.
