National Retirement Security Week (nsrw), is October 20th-26th this year. This is a week dedicated to bringing awareness to the importance of saving for retirement. Planning and preparation for retirement can go a long way to setting yourself up for a great experience.

The theme of this week’s informational campaign, introduced by the Division and Empower Retirement, is Enjoy the Ride. Employees are encouraged to reflect on preparations for their retirement goals and evaluate where they are along the road to reaching those goals. It doesn’t matter where you are along your career, there are things you can do today in order to improve tomorrow!

National Retirement Security Week is an excellent time to take a small action step on a great retirement planning journey. Remember, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a first single step. Saving for your future is a lifetime endeavor.
